To catch Eevee, you will need either a copy of Pokémon Black 2 or White 2. You cannot get Eevee in Black or White; it must be Black/White 2. In Black and White, you can only get Eevee by trading or the Dream World.

Steps

  1. 1

Go to Castelia City. It is the big city that you can reach by boat from Virbank City. This is the only place you can catch Eevee in the game.

  2. 2

Buy yourself a great deal of Poke Balls. Eevee has a low catch rate.

  3. 3

Head right and go onto the pier next to the entrance.

  4. 4

Once on the pier, head onto the small deck and go down the stairs. Bear in mind, if you haven't been here before, Iris will be there and so will Hugh, your rival. So be sure to come here again after that point in the story.

  5. 5

Go up and follow the path until you see a left turning.Take it. You should see some stairs, go up them.

  6. 6

You will see a small garden with a tree. The guy there says that it was the beginning for Castelia City.

  7. 7

Walk through the grass until you find an Eevee. Eevee has only a 5% chance of appearing in the grass. The other Pokémon that can be found there are: Audino (shaking grass), Lilligant (White 2), Buneary (Black 2), Cottonee (Black 2), Whimsicott (Black 2), Delcatty (White 2) Pidove (White 2 and Black 2), Lopunny (Black 2), Petilil (White 2), Rattata and Skitty (White 2).

  8. 8

It is disheartening, but don't give up. It may take a while but you will eventually find one. Only then will you be able to catch it. You can only find it at level 19.

  9. 9

Finally, when you're in battle with it, lower its health to about 7%. Use a Poke Ball on it. You're unlikely to catch it first time, so be patient. An Ultra Ball gives a higher catch rate than an ordinary Poke Ball.

  • Try using a Quick Ball on the first turn if you have some. Quick Balls work best at the beginning of the battle.

  • If it's night, bring Dusk Balls to use as well.

  • Have a Pokémon with a move that inflicts a status effect such as paralysis or sleep. This will make it easier to catch.

  • If you've already caught an Eevee, use a Repeat Ball. You know you've caught it when there is a Poke Ball next to its name.

  • Don't use moves that poison or confuses the other Pokémon or it could die by accident.
